Most China manufacture may not have experience doing business for export. So     when sourcing in China, below tip can be attentioned:

•   Be sure factory fully understand print. In many cases, the drawing are       different from China meter system.

•   Be sure material is available. Almost no exactly material grade                 specification same as US customers. So you need be sure they are similar or exceed US specification, such as ASTM, AISI, SAE, etc.

•   Be sure the factory be aware of your annual quality. Most China factory    wish to make big annual quantity parts, and pricing varies a lot.

•   Be sure the factory is capable of doing quantity control as per your            specification, and if the factory has same gages as yours.

•   Be sure inspection method is same as you do in the US,  as many             confusion or differnet result may occur due to different inspection method,     even though same gages.

•   Be sure the factory is reliable and interested in your business. In many      cases, the factory do not contact with US customers, but through middle trade Co. who may interest into any business, but the factory may not.

•   Be sure pricing is reasonable and realistic. The pricing could be very high  or very low due to inexperience of the factory, or sometimes pricing is only     for attracting business, and after tooling and sample done, big change           could happen. So better compare with three different supplier pricing and find our, why never always go with pricing.

•   Quality and management                                                                       Be sure the supplier show your confidence to make quality parts, has good    management and high reputation in existing customers.
